As much as I want to, I can't fight the DAWN of God's reality and as much as I had planned to sleep earlier, He showed me tonight the confirmation of the decision I had to make soon by tomorrow morning.
Instead of TYPING that other entry I thought God wanted me to finish, I found myself READING tonight instead...
Last line of * RH... CCC The pact-convenant.txt * completes the confirmation as tough of a decision it is to make, it is the one I ought to make.
Just because _ _ _ and I have issues doesn't mean I've LOST who I am... after all, I cannot lose something which is secured in Jesus Christ. [Luke 15]
*G*: "If you find a perfect church, don't join it, because if you join it, you will make it imperfect..."

God has very firmly answered my question tonight as to (8) Should I stay or should I go... (8) STAY!
K's Shadow: You know that other church is pretty good too... (let me get one thing straight, there's NOTHING WRONG with going to THAT church, it's just that it may not be God's church for me....)
You made a PACT Prince Kaspian... Even if it means God is using His OWN Prophecy against you... But the one written with your "own hand" Mr. 1 Corinthians 7... The one that withstood the "Spiritual Revision" you mentioned.
(8) Now I can tell you why... (8) [the same friend also text messaged me a one word message: "Why?"]
For Jesus is why you must die... not a physical death to yourself... not an obligation death to a church... but a death of giving up your own life, so you find that you...
(8) ...might truly live... (8) [see verses pasted below]
"These things don't just happen you know..." [Sweet Home Mississauga]
Matthew 10:39
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Matthew 16:25
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
Luke 9:24
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.
Luke 17:33
Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
It is of benefit for most to read the whole chapters where these verses are found, but I did it as the above to show the Hebraic repetition aforementioned. Being called by God to experience another church for the last feel weeks, the Lord truly shed the light on my underlying issue, especially during that last sermon in the series at that church about church leaders mentioned in my last entry. While I was there, I noticed, hey I like these sermons, I like the setup, I like the people there too, it was like heaven on earth, the "PERFECT CHURCH" if you will.
However, "It's not about you" like my Christian friend text messaged to me the very same morning. I was like WHOA... does he know that I am awake 6AM this morning listening to the sermon with that screen shot? Perhaps not, but GOD knows. From the recollection of Urbana 2006 and Rick Warren's presence there and book, to the very spiritually profound experience I had at the MCBCSL Praise Night on May 1st, 2009 with the theme "It's not about me" and now these visits to Meeting House, I realized, HEY... God you're trying to tell me something here! "Stop looking at how *I AM* can help you with YOUR needs... look at how you can help Me with Mine..."
7Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
8"No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet."
Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."
9"Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"
10Jesus answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you." 11For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
12When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. 13"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. [John 13:7-16]
While to me, Meeting House may seem like the PERFECT church, RHCBC remains a "perfectly good one". The way the congregants at Meeting House conduct themselves truly reminds me of one thing, while we are gathered as one body [1 Corinthians 12], we don't need to be in any particular "role" to help others. Just by being honest and transparent, they have already helped me so much in the same attitude of John 13 above.
Allow me to set the context a bit more for those who may not have thought so much about the (seemingly minor) details of this event. Back in those days, the majority of people wore sandals and also relied on walking as a primary form of transportation. Furthermore, the environment they walked was very unlike our modern sidewalks and pavement and they often walked on dirt roads and I guess for those of you who are around in the GTA... imagine trying to walk around "Chinatown" in your bare feet. Ya... Not pleasant. So since people had dusty, dirty feet the majority of the time, it was customary for people to just leave their feet dirty and not bother washing them. A present day equivalent is like when a friend would tell you not to bother washing the car if it was going to rain the next day and he knows you'll be out driving anyhow. This could explain why in other passages, Jesus tells us disciples to "shake the dust off your feet" (Matthew 10:14, Mark 6:11, Luke 9:5) as a gesture of being spiteful towards those who don't welcome the disciples on their ambassadorship.
There are instances though in Judaism religious custom though where feet washing is also done before receiving priestly blessing [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritual_washing_in_Judaism], and this might be something Jesus was trying to hint at before communion to show that it was a form of blessing He was about to bestow upon them. But I think even in these cases it was done by the individual and not the priest, someone correct me if I am wrong. He seems to hint at this in John 13:7 "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
My point of all this, is Jesus' act of washing his disciples' feet is very much like if you were to step into someone's house and the host would come up to you and say: "Oh... let me take off your shoes for you..." There are some exceptions were elderly have trouble bending down to get them on/off, but the majority of us would naturally think and/or say: "Oh... you don't have to do that..." The whole point of all this is that no act is nor should be considered "too small". Even something like saying "hi" to somebody at church could go a long way for someone who really needed that greeting. No act is too small, nor any act will go unrewarded or if necessary punished. (Ezekiel 24:14; 36:19, Matthew 6:4; 6:6; 6:18; 1 Corinthians 4:5, Revelation 20:12-13) So before I change to a more Christmas theme, I'm gonna first quote the original version of Prince Caspian's identity discovery:
Caspian: Then I have failed you.
Doctor Cornelius: Everything I told you, everything I didn‟t… It was only because I believe in you. You have a chance to become the most noble contradiction in history: The Telmarine who saved Narnia.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”- Isaiah 9:6
Last year I also wrote 3 entries in December and mentioned about the Christmas I had that year. Particularly, the last entry I wrote that year focused around Christmas. The Christmas celebrations are over and done with and this will be the last entry for this year also as I am heading up to Urbana 2009 tomorrow. It's so unbelievable that 3 years have gone by already since I also mentioned Urbana 2006 in that entry [http://life-of-agent-k.blogspot.com/2008/12/yes-lord-yes-lord-yes-yes-lord.html].

I was reminded of a very COMPREHENSIVE REALITY lately by the grace of seeking Spiritual Direction, God's plan is subject to what humans or even God Himself may temporarily interpret as failure. For those interested in the sermon God gave me when he caused BOTH of my computers to "FAIL" on me (temporarily) so that I would "listen to an older Podcast"... it is Joshua Harris' Courage and Compassion sermon 02/10/2009 through the Covenant Life Church Podcast in the i-Tunes store.
*G*: "You can be at the very centre of God's will and still face OPPOSITION and SUFFERING..."
Most Christians may incorrectly presume that God's plan MUST BE perfect, what are you talking about here K? It CANNOT fail... Hello? What bible are you reading? To use Numbers 14 as just one example. Wait... opps... flip back to Genesis 3... what do you see? FAIL...
Just like one of my other blog entries that mysterious disappeared during the spiritual revision. I have decided to end this entry with a challenge to the reader(s) on how God can help them more than how God has already helped me. Just like the repeated message lately which would have been RE-INGRAINED not at 6AM this morning, but rather last week had I LISTENED to God and just went to Meeting House as the Lord asked:

For those of you who aren't going to watch the sermon, it was as if even when I was extremely busy finishing my big term assignment, God kept pushing me to go experience this sermon. "It's not about yours truly..." The sermon was directed to the "me" attitude of church leaders, WOW God...Just like another point from that sermon pointed out, it's about the COMMUNITY as well. So what happens? God wakes me up at 6AM this morning to watch it online instead before the follow up sermon. I realized I "GOT TOLD" by God through the entire series of sermons and the conclusion I've been "wrestling" with will be explained in my next entry.
Today I was uniquely recommended by YouTube twice to watch Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" music video. I had already seen this before, but I felt this time, God wanted me to observe something more carefully from it. I thought to myself as I observed carefully why God would choose to do so and I noticed it's all in the glasses or possibly fake corrective lenses she is wearing. It was not until I had to undergo my contact vision therapy and learned the details of how it works that I realized just how "blind" people who need to rely on correct lenses actually see. And more importantly, the concept of how we believe we can see, when we really don't... vis-a-vie even myself who while optically can see better than 20/20 at times, can still be "blind" to certain things only God can see better than I see myself.
I feel the corrective lenses she wears in that video is a metaphor for her change in perspective. She is without glasses at the very end I believe not only because she wanted to "look pretty" but it's also to indicate that she is finally seeing things clearly. I believe as Christians and non-Christians we can all relate to this experience of being blind to something which has been true all along. Or perhaps in other cases, we believe something is true, but it's not.
Sometimes I truly know in my heart, to really *G*:"LET GOD BE GOD" and have this Godcast be assisted with Divine authorship. Now you might ask, why doesn't God just write it Himself instead of enlisting my help? If so, you are asking the WRONG question! Think about the context I was setting up with that scene from i-Robot before the spiritual revision. It turns out also, that based on the overarching theme of the sermon at Meeting House today. It is so ironic that my car even ended up breaking down as a means for God to prevent me from not obeying the spirit's calling to be at Meeting House at 10AM. With the context of the line from Shakespeare's' Hamlet when someone noticed "There is method to his madness" about Hamlet's alleged fraudulent insanity. I realized from this same "Meeting House 10AM" sermon and after completing this blog entry that I have quoted non-supernatural sources of God's speaking to me that punch line from the sermon "God can speak through ordinary circumstances" as well is truly "method to His Holiness".

I AM sorry I was wrong Lord...
First and foremost Jesus... once somebody dedicates something as a God cast... he would be very selfish to close it unless God wants him to keep it that way. Afterall, it isn't his to close... He would be commiting humanity's core sin again, selfishness...
Ask, Seek, Knock
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
[Matthew 7:7-10]
Approxiametly nine months ago, that same idiot wrote an entry that implied something like there are no basic principles to God, not exactly with that title. Let me put it this way, it has something to do with the FIRST meaning of the initials p.J. ;)...
But it was revealed by the ALL KNOWING God to him this fine day that he was so very wrong... That a root can be found to almost everything. Including "God". Allow me to throw some out the "basic principles":
1) Ask -> Listen
2) Seek -> Learn
3) Knock -> Love/Live
In essence, or as a starting point:
When we ASK anything, including trying to find out what God will DO in the matter, we need to LISTEN.
Why do we SEEK after something if not to LEARN about and more importantly FROM it....
God is always KNOCKing... we KNOW and LIVE this in God's version of LOVE, in the only pure form.
K _ _ _ _:
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change the things that I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference.

"The Problem IS Choice..." -WW Sunday School clip from Matrix RELOADED
A prophecy concerning Dumah :
Someone calls to me from Seir,
"Watchman, what is left of the night?
Watchman, what is left of the night?"
[Isaiah 21:11]
...
Music starts playin like the end of a sad movie,
It's the kinda ending you don't really wanna see.
Cause its tragedy and it'll only bring you down,
Now I don't know what to be without you around.
And we know its never simple,
Never easy.
Never a clean break, no one here to save me.
You're the only thing I know like the back of my hand,
And I cant,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to.
Never wanted this, never wanna see you hurt.
Every little bump in the road I tried to swerve.
But people are people,
And sometimes it doesn't work out,
Nothing we say is gonna save us from the fall out.
And we know its never simple,
Never easy.
Never a clean break, no one here to save me.
You're the only thing I know like the back of my hand,
And I cant,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to.
Its two a.m.
Feelin' like I just lost A Friend.
Hope you know its not easy,
Easy for me.
Its two a.m.
Feelin' like I just lost A Friend.
Hope you know this ain't easy,

Temporarily closure, He won't take it back...
"...I can't keep my HOLY SPIRIT all BOTTLED UP INSIDE..."
The video I included in my link is the lesser of *3*... well not "evils"... but I think a lot of you people who read my blog but aren't willing to admit it might be offended by the other *2* I could have put up there....I have a confession to make, I "took" these next three lines off something a friend posted on the 11th of a different month this year...
1) I asked God to grant me patience, and God said, No. He said that patience is a by-product of tribulation; it isn't granted, it is earned.
2) I asked God to give me happiness, and God said, No. He said He gives blessings; happiness is up to me.
3) I asked God to spare me pain, and God said, No. He said,"suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me."
If you're looking for some "scripture"... I did a paper on the Book of James in my summer course on New Testament theology, it can be a good starting point for the ABOVE...
The rest of you obviously can't handle reading my blog so if honestly nobody hacked my account, perhaps Jesus took those entries away for your own good rather than mine. I'm not "losing my marbles"... Somebody else, if not God really did take those entries off my blog instead of me... And that being said, I understand some of you want other entries to be removed less divinely perhaps... well that you will have to talk to me and specify which ones about since God didn't do it... You might even want to say that...
Jesus "...can't handle it..."
Until He tells me you're ready to read this blog/Godcast again,
Bye for now.

PJ's prophecy...
i-Logos: *NOT THE ONLY* PJ! :)
The word "prophecy" is often misunderstood in post-modern, "western-theology" circles due to the fact that it is not comprehensively translated in our modern English dictionaries:
proph⋅e⋅cy /ˈprɒfəsi/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [prof-uh-see]
–noun, plural -cies. 1. the foretelling or prediction of what is to come.
2. something that is declared by a prophet, esp. a divinely inspired prediction, instruction, or exhortation.
3. a divinely inspired utterance or revelation: oracular prophecies.
4. the action, function, or faculty of a prophet.
Ok, I stand corrected, if you look at definition #2 (albeit probably not the first one people think of when the word is heard), we do see that the secular dictionary does touch a bit upon the original intended spiritual meaning. Let's dig into some "scripture" shall we:
7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
[1 Corinthians 12:7-11] Seven-eleven? "God's mouth never closes" :)
29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues[d]? Do all interpret? 31But eagerly desire[e] the greater gifts.
[1 Corinthians 12:29-31] To some degree, depending on your interpretation/understanding of the passage, I would answer that YES... all are apostles, prophets and teachers to some point, it's all about as my prof put it the other day "spiritual discernment" there's that word again :) which like the concept in Hebrews 5, we need to sift out what God is saying to us despite whether the person talking is non-Christian (Psalm 24:1, 1 Corinthians 10:26) to even a Christian with their doctorate in theology.
Leads me to my other point, I hate to break it to you, but for most people, we shouldn't see seminary as something that necessary makes a person "more spiritual", it is what it is, a potential environment for encountering and experiencing God and also a good place for equipping one for ministry. But my personal opinion is that it doesn't actually make someone somehow be "more spiritual" because seminary cannot forcefully-impart or coerce the gift of Jesus and the holy spirit (John 16, Acts 1-2) upon us. Where I'm going with this is we all are capable of serving God and fulfilling his Matthew 28 calling, it is just like my prof would put it "a matter of foregrounding."
To make a long story short, our lesson of prophecy (perhaps I'll post it on my GREEN one later) came to an interesting new lesson for me. Apparently, prophecy is primary "forth-telling". Basically the prophets in the bible "tell it like it is" based on what God inspired them to say, but most prophecy from God has an integrated element of "fore-telling" (like prediction) in it as well. Hence, why even though PJ may not be able to "remember what I said"... I will quote some of his "prophecies here"...hehehehe, he shouldn't mind... I hope.... afterall most of these he made (semi) "public" anyhow (I may not remember word for word so there might be a bit of 'spiritual revision'):
"Got in the wrong car at the wrong time... we nearly all died, but God saved my life and theirs...As a Christian now, I can't understand why guys are so concerned they have no girlfriend... I'm 24 and still single and it DOESN'T BOTHER ME..."
PK (inspired, wish I could be like that too): "I wanna be like i-KE..."
LOL be careful what you wish for I suppose, that spin out on the highway wasn't exactly "fun"...
"They say there are two events in a person's life worth commemorating, your baptism and engagement. (PK: yada yada... that day he talks only about those two topics LOL, is this what they call "bridle college"? :P)"
"You have to understand... I can understand even in the secular world, my co-workers are always debating when to propose or 'pop the question'...But do understand it can be taken to the other extreme as well (PK: LOL I don't see a problem with taking it to God's extreme though)...Like not everything we say in class (PK: Are you sure about that? "Office of Prophecy" lesson in class ;) necessary is meant to be taken literally, you know like CRUNCH TIME or stuff that happens on the softball field, bottom of the ninth (or in Christian leagues, 7th), bases loaded...You know, like maybe you study at *seminary*... God's not going to part the clouds to show you when to propose man..."
i-JAMES5: "What's this? I don't get it..."
"Marriage counseling..." (hehe, I think I experienced the fulfillment of this in some ways the other day too, for those of you praying, "never give up" praying especially for both myself and you, I only ask what I am doing for you as well :)
One thing I do want to point out in all of this, is that I do not consider myself a person who needs "confirmation" from any "prophet" if there is something I am already clear that God has already spoken onto my heart via the holy spirit (John 16, Romans 8) But like Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14, notice the placement of this passage ;) "I thank God that I (perhaps in my case) speak in tongues more than all of you. But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue." Perhaps mentioning things like this is good for the edification of the church or body of Christ so even if it's for that reason only, His God's cast I will update...
I'm now going to quote a few lines I found "prophetic" to me from my last class as those who have been following my blog will know that it perhaps has significant meaning to my present context over the last half year or so (since we are a seminary class and it came up during our already overtime "discussion" my prof did not quote all the relevant passages here but I have included them for the sake of my readers):
Ezekiel (Ezekiel 1-3) has NO EXCUSE (no written excuse not to prophesy), so he *bottles up all his emotions inside*, including fear.... that is why God have to give him the scroll to EAT (like a disease? :P)
Isaiah (Isaiah 6) is sent on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE... same as Hosea (Hosea 1) “GO AND TAKE A HARLOT AS YOUR WIFE... COULD *YOU* SWALLOW THAT?” (ok in my case the harlot is probably more figurative/"metaphorical" [TWONG CD TEAM], let's get that part clear :)
Filled with your glory
-----------------------
In my heart, in my heart, there's a fire burning
A passion deep within my soul
Not slowing down, not growing cold
An unquenchable flame that keeps burning brighter
A love that's blazing like the sun
For who You are and what You've done
And as the fire is raging on
So Your praise becomes my song
The whole earth
Is filled with Your glory, Lord
Angels and men adore
Creation longs for what's in store
(Mountains bow and oceans roar)
May You be
Honored and glorified
Exalted and lifted high
Here at Your feet I lay my life
From the ends of the earth
To the heights of Heaven
Your glory, Lord, is far and wide
Through history You reign on high
From the depths of the sea
To the mountain's summit
Your power, Lord, it knows no bounds
A higher love cannot be found
So let the universe proclaim
Your great power and Your great name

5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. 5 She said to the king, "The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true. 6 But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard. 7 How happy your people must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! 8 Praise be to the LORD your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on his throne as king to rule for the LORD your God. Because of the love of your God for Israel and his desire to uphold them forever, he has made you king over them, to maintain justice and righteousness." [2 Chronicles 9:3-12]
Is there perhaps some instances where you were also the "TEAM CAPTAIN sitting on the bleachers"? As the other saying goes "life is not a spectator sport"... I'm sure we all have some point in our lives where we regretted not acting when we had the chance. And even if we don't, there's always this blog, there's always also:

How many of us truly realize that when we made the decision to accept Christ, we have already "tap(ped) into the spiritual resources..."? Whether it be something (seemingly non-divine) we are having peace through a difficult situation [2 Corinthians 1:3-5] or as I have heard stories from around the world of actual exorcists, resurrections, angels, etc..., experiencing God in more remarkable ways [Deuteronomy 7:17-24]. Almost makes some things in my quest seem trivial, do not underestimate the power of the holy spirit! [John 16]

How many of us are faced with "being afraid" of not doing something we ought to? Be it simply talking to someone you may really not want to talk to, like those Rick Warren calls "Extra Grace People" (EGPs) or afraid to tell your neighbour about Jesus? Sometimes we allow fear to consume us from doing the right thing, including shying away from but do not fail to see that is part of Satan's plan all along (2 Corinthians 2:11, 2 Corinthians 3:13-15, Romans 1:15-17).

"i-+hink it's up to us now..." - KING PETER
We can save this world... with Christ's leadership (Ephesians 5)...
I was called to watch the Michael Jackson “This Is It” movie this week and God gave me a message through that as well...
However, I can't give all the details yet as that might cause a spiritual revision to happen again, at the very least it would ruin all the fun.... :P
But suffice to say, at the end of the film, I got the answer or confirmation to some of the questions that have been weighing on my mind...
So getting there, at the end of the film there is a picture of Michael with three sentences completing the tribute to him:
Michael Jackson...
KING OF POP
Love Lives Forever
Whoever might have read the entries before the spiritual revision might know what I'm “getting at” here, but let's just say at the end of the movie they had the following three songs in this order...
*1* This is it...
*2* Billie Jean
*3* Man in the mirror
I need to explain the context of “This is it...” a little for those who haven't watch the film and won't get it at all without it. It's an original song never heard yet that MJ wanted to put in his new show... We know (8) ... you're looking down on us from heaven... (8). There is a a film clip they made with an infant girl enjoying herself in the forest and cutting to other wonders of nature and God's creation (Romans 1:20) and the narration by Michael states how much he loves the earth and he feels for it and it is dying and he really wishes we can DO SOMETHING about that...Also at the end when he dedicates the show with his staff, he also GOD blesses them and says that “we need to bring love out into the world...”
“We can save this world... with the right leadership...” -Watchmen (Ezekiel 33)
Michael then also goes on to add that we have to start with ourselves, that we can't keep on thinking the government or other organizations will go on to doing it for us... “...up to us now...”
At the end when he did Man in the Mirror it made me cry... I know it's up to me and you now...
“Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be; It's harsh, it's cruel. That's why there's us *Christians* It doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we can make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be.” - Angel
P.S. Prince Kaspian still needs his “help” ;)

5And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.
6And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.
7And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.
8And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

PerhapS you need some motivation...
Ephesians 4:26
"In your anger do not sin" : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
Dearest friends, you were always so careful to follow my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away you must be even more careful to put into action God's saving work in your lives, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is [Romans 8:28], giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.
PHILIPPIANS 2:12-13
God's purpose for our life is to make us like Christ. To do this, the Holy Spirit works in us, changing our desires and giving us the power to do what God wants. But God doesn't force us to obey him. He leaves that choice up to us. ["The problem IS..."] What has God told you to do? Do it. As you obey God in small matters, he will trust you with larger ones. [Notes are adapted from the Life Application Bible, copyright 1988 Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.]
4 "Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
5 For your Maker is your husband—
the LORD Almighty is his name—
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.
6 The LORD will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—
a wife who married young,
only to be rejected," says your God.
[Isaiah]
Dearest, I know what it's like to "worry" as well. But dun worry, "you know...like Matthew 6..." (it's not THE ONLY passage that says not to worry) you don't need to even lift your non-fractured finger to keep me "tied" down. The other day before fellowship, I went on a 6+Km prayer walk to pray not only for the fellowship but for myself. One of the songs I decided to sing that day was... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkNooh1lFaU
Turns out when I was at Destinys' that night with SO MANY answered prayers, I did manage to catch a song playing in the background, maybe cause we were sitting in a bad spot or being noisy, who knows, but it was THE ONLY song I heard played there that evening. "Forever and ever..." Even this is nothing compared to other things I've seen Him do to show me His way...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9t0fxyt_3E&feature=related
My whole life, those who didn't want advice on relationships from someone whose "well read" in the topic always wanted me to "lead by example". Well AGAPE is "like the wind..." you can't see it, but He knows it's there... They say that marriage is supposed to be a representation of God's AGAPE "Here on Earth"... well if I am already able to bring people to Christ via my love for you... let's make the wedding into something really God glorifying :)
16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. 17 And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

Blowin' In The Wind lyrics
How many roads most a man walk down
Before you call him a man ?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand ?
Yes, how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
Yes, how many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea ?
Yes, how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free ?
Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
Yes, how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky ?
Yes, how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry ?
Yes, how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died ?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

"My back... my back..."
That wasn't the original link I wanted to use to help facilitate the meaning behind this post, but as the Archie comic once (kinda put it about a different desire)... "Can't give link you want... WANT link you have..." In the start of the evening, all of a sudden my back started to hurt and I thought to myself, my younger biological brother barely touched me and then it stopped and I realized that's not the reason why I can't sleep... "I can't take it..." Reminds me of that time of my once of a lifetime experience of Easter service, when people were "listening to Podcast"... someone told me "I dunno, I see a red line..." and a good buddy of mine who has the spare keys to my "faith-mobile" all of a sudden had back pains... LOL "congratulations"? Buddy, you are the one who just got married to Jesus that Sunday and before that Easter too, I should be CONGRATULATING YOU! :)
The post date was supposed to be Monday, but I was busy with school work. Besides, I'm likely gonna to just joint down the details of the event so I don't forget it and finish this entry at a later date anyhow. Anyhow, interestingly enough... I experienced a "follow-up" or as some might wanna call "balance" instead to one of my previous blog entries. At first (to my shame), I was afraid to admit that when I heard the "audible voice of God" it sounded like a female because LOL we "all know"... God's NOT female right? ROFL... that's another "can of (Lutheran) Worms" I rather not open at the moment. But the point is, it makes sense in light of what happened today.
Today I got a little lost trying to make my way to my friends' office to carpool with him to class, so I ended up doing what one might call a "detour traffic and construction FAIL"... I never thought I could get lost in my home town, but I guess most of my driving and riding nowadays has been relocated and so are my navigation skills? But what about my GIFT of long term memory? Well I did know the route, but for some reason I just ended up lost anyhow... so lo and behold when I finally got there, my other friend was also there waiting so I had the opportunity to chat with her a little bit. Then later decided I should "get reading" as I got a lot of work to catch up on ever since recovery from my illness. So AS SOON AS I STARTED reading... WHOA... they were playing that Taylor Swift song... YES... THAT ONE... O M _ right...I mean... this is a doctor's office waiting room here... kinda out of place too LOL, albeit it's a "chinese" office so they are probably just using a radio and not a CD player maybe, but still why do this to me Lord?!?! WAIT it gets even more 2 Corinthians 5:13... cause like not too long after, I all of a sudden heard my name called repeatedly this time... LOL I guess you could say that saying "speak Lord, your servant is listening" did not quite put a stop and more direct response to it this time, but required more interpretation and for me to recall also the first time this sequence of events happened. Apparently it's someone named "__l___" apparently this time, wasn't 100% sure, the "secretary" or "receptionist" might have just been saying my name first and then the other one because nobody responded. It was strange the name was repeated so many times though... didn't count how many. Yes, you got it, this time it makes more sense that the "receptionist" WAS FEMALE as most typically are... I've even heard (again "for shame") that they hardly hire males for these roles. So you could say the sequence of events made a near perfect match, except this time I was in a WAITING room instead of a BANQUET and there was less DISTORTION... didn't hear the lyric as "TEAM CAPTAIN" this time, just the song was going on and I wasn't really try to pay attention to any of the noises there anyhow... Come to think of it, since the office was closing soon, I don't recall hearing any more songs that day, maybe also cause the desk thought the person they were calling couldn't hear over the music too perhaps, who knows...
1 Corinthians 15:18 (New International Version)
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.
:P..... :P!!!
I looked up the song on Youtube and this time, I noticed something I had not noticed before, the name of the album it's on... "I'm just as scared as you _ _ _ _ _"... I thought to myself, perhaps these pauses in the lagtube are part of giving me the opportunity to have breaks to finish this entry perhaps. No more holds bars anymore when I can't sleep... all K breaKs loose... I refuse to give in... I know Satan's voice is out there telling me to give up, it's never gonna to work... but on the other hand I know my "saviour lives" and I refuse to live and sleep a sinner! Satan tells me "it's already been brought" but I say "I've already been brought!" (1 Corinthians 6:20)
At first I was debating whether I should put my own interpretation down in words... "like you know..." "" And I'm not here to try to make you "worry"... I guess it's like I have been thinking all week, regardless of what happens and how much you might hate me, Jesus needs you to know, that until He changes His mind... "So here I AM, standing in your doorway... I've always been standing on your doorway..."
I haven't posted my STARDATE entry yet, because I believe that story hasn't come to an end yet... "I know you think we can't be together. But can't you respect me enough to let me make my own decision? I know there'll be _ _ _ _ _. But I want to face them with you. It's wrong that we should only be half-alive... ...half of ourselves." All I knows is, and I don't care if She never feels the same way... All I knows is, to give up on A G A P E... all I end up doing is going back to the man I was... yes that's right folks... it's not "pretty" as they say... As those who've watched the *3*rd installment of the Spiderman series know... The couple-phobic insomniac (that kinda is already happening)... Mr. "world does not revolve around you" when people don't understand why it is I can't stand couples if you recall some of my older entries... Yes, that's right, AnaSIN SkystalKer... you know "the dark side"... it's ironic to think that yes it's true, the same man who people are very happy to be their softball captain once had a "darker" past and was REJECTED from even captaining in the first place. I don't want to go back there so if the saying is true. "Damned if I do... Damned if I don't..." then I choose to "don't" sin... Esther 4:16
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0281358/quotes
(8)... Did the CAPTAIN of the Titanic cry...? (8)
As another Mr. Lau (hint, he's famous :P) once put it "_ _ _ _ _ isn't finding someone

If I really can't sleep, I'm just going to try to get an early start, perhaps even finish to my assignment LOL... boy is that why I can't sleep? Then Luke 5:8, He is our father! :)

Baby I know your hurting
Right now you feel like you could never love again
Now all I ask is for a chance
To prove that I love you
From the first day
That I saw your smiling face
_ _ _ _ _, I knew that we would be together forever
Ooh when I asked you out
You said no but He'd found out
Darling that you'd been hurt
You felt that you'd never love again
I deserve a try _ _ _ _ _ just once
Give me a chance and I'll prove this all wrong
You walked in you were so quick to judge
But _ _ _ _ _ he's nothing like me
Chorus
I'll never break your heart
I'll never make you cry
I'd rather die than live without you
I'll give you all of me
_ _ _ _ _ that's no lie (2x)
As time goes by you
Will get to know me
A little more better
Girl that's the way love goes
And I know you're afraid
To let you're feelings show
And I understand
But girl it's time to let go
I deserve a try _ _ _ _ _
Just once
Give me a chance and I'll prove this all wrong
You walked in you were so quick to judge
But _ _ _ _ _ he's nothing like me
Darling why can't you see

Maybe when "hell freezes over" would I leave the term Girl-A-NOT-*A*-GOOD Girl for you's pet name for her husband in there...
Seems only right to end it with a song that probably was written around the same time I've been "praying for a wife...and..." *cough cough* "sit on your (my) ass..."
Lau (hint, he's famous :P) once put it "_ _ _ _ _ isn't finding someone
you can live with... it's finding that person you can't live without..." Sometimes I wonder if maybe when I can't sleep should I try to take in large amounts of food to try to make me get a "food coma" haha, is this what they call "A G A P E on a diet"? "Like you know... MOVING ON"? :/

O M _
A long time ago, A Friend of mine told me not to use the expression OMG... For the most part, I agree, but I think there are some times when it is acceptable; as long as you don't violate Exodus 20:7 or any of its other cross-references. I've experienced God so much in the last few days I know I'm not alone, I just hope it's going to be enough to overcome my couple-phobia again so that I can continue enjoying Life Together. ;)
Another friend of mine was once concerned that I had NO BALANCE to my 'intuitions' (or I like to call them "spiritual sense"s) about God and it's funny I have to bring it up, but HAHA, now I know what it means, the painful way. It's interesting that for the last week and a half almost I've been wondering why my seminary still didn't cash my tuition's check yet and I was beginning to hope (not 'sense') that maybe God was playing around with my bank account to provide for me. No such 'luck' though, the other day I had to get some cash from the ATM and discovered my checking account is almost empty now, in other words I have NO BALANCE, ROFL...
But I praise God He has been trying to show me so much lately that I'm often in awe as to how much He's been willing to do to try to speak to me, which might explain why He brought me to read Numbers 22 during the summer retreat on Sunday morning when I couldn't sleep due to my finger pains. It was then that God gave me a revelation about those pains too, a follow-up if you will to when I prayed to God and felt He was telling me to go through with my surgery. "WHAT do I have to DO??????" to prove to You I'm there it was like He was saying to me... All summer long, even in class and etc... I just kept taking pain-killer after pain-killer, prescribed and non-prescribed and I was TOLD (by my surgeon) that would take care of the pain. But hardly (if at all)! I kept thinking to myself, what is the point if it seems they are doing nothing for me other than stirring up my already usually sensitive stomach even more. I realized then and there and especially after someone from my youth fellowship PRAYED for me that it wouldn't hurt during my MCBCSL tournament (and it didn't hurt one bit that day), that GOD WAS IN CONTROL of that pain, just like the line my prof used in class the other day. And now it no longer hurts, expect a little at times when God needs to confirm to me that the voice I'm hearing is IN FACT His and all along, I've never been forsaken (Romans 8:34-35). As Russell Peters would put it, "BALANCE..."
Another friend of mine once told me that maybe I was seeing things that weren't there and maybe it was simply confirming my own desires anyhow so I THOUGHT they were from God. But as the saying goes "nothing can be further from the truth". I'm not ruling out that God won't sometimes put things in our path to confirm what He wants or what we want is also what He wants (which is fine also). But in the particular incident he's thinking about, I've been trying so hard consciously not to want things that way for the longest time, but God's been "stepping it up a notch" to remind me where His true calling lies and remind His children that he REALLY IS IN CONTROL. Like what He did for Jonah when he refused to go to Nineveh or other examples. It's funny, cause just this morning I was concerned that the seminary was going to charge me a late fee because last time when I had to be at school to use the resources of the library and there was no ink left in the printer, I couldn't get in my registration for my course in on time also because my re-application came in late. However, since I had over-payed my late fee from the winter term registration last year, I still had $10 left in the account as credit, so turns out I was fine when I called back they told me it was probably just to tell me I still have $2* ("two dollars") left in my account as credit. God has used much less natural ways to try to speak to me as well, but it is that example and the dream I had this morning which are more recent; but I feel are also to remind me of the other times when He did move his "mighty hand and outstretched arm" as my prof likes to term it in her lectures.
Reminds me also of the time I haven't wrote about yet that follows-up to when my seminary friend PN told me that God speaks to him in an "audible" voice even sometimes and that actually happened to me at the banquet when I was in the middle of having a conversation with a crowd and all of a sudden I heard my name spoken to me in an audible voice and I turned around to confirm it couldn't have come from anybody else. My friend later asked if I said "here I am" and it's funny cause I was just thinking about that example from 1 Samuel 3 too when I was at the banquet and "the voice" came and I feel ashamed that God had to follow up my "Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening." with "Do I ALWAYS have to speak to you audibly?". It's interesting that during the prayer meeting that Friday, PF said the same thing about how God doesn't always have to speak to us audibly (John 16:13-15).
In conclusion (so you won't have to say "I dunno where you're going with this" :P and I can practice for my other papers), I am simply trying to point out a fact that should be apparently to you, especially those who are already Christian, I sincerely hope you know what I mean! It is sad that God had to go through so much to remind me I need to trust Him and I apologize to Him that perhaps I haven't always been the faithful servant He wants me to become. Sometimes I wonder why people get so excited to know I'm in seminary now. To be honest, I really don't feel there's anything everyday Christians need to be envious about when it comes to us called to full-time ministry. Both you (non-called-to-full-time-ministers) and I both have the spirit of God and the responsibility to share God's love to other Christians and non-Christians alike, the difference is one word "burden". That's why we do what we do, amidst the extra difficulties and trials that "come with His job". I don't want you to think less of us by me saying this, but we do it because we HAVE to as much as because we WANT to; regardless of how we feel, He always calls us to serve and love nonetheless.
The other point I really want to "hit home" with is that we simply need to apply passages like Romans 1, Romans 8, and simply listen to our master more. Kind of like the ending of the movie "The Ladies Man" when he tells all those husbands with unsatisfied wives "Fellas, you just gotta learn to listen to your ladies..."; "Christians you just gotta learn to listen to your LORD-ies" "Lord-ies" as in the holy trinity, 3 in 1 God, not to imply a more relative or "post-modern" theology. Listening to God isn't always easy at first, but like any of your other friendships, it typically improves over time. God is omnipresent and constantly not only reaching out His hands, but His voice, His love and His fellowship is "out there, available for the taking". Jesus is on "your doorway... " he's "...always been on your doorway..." (Rev. 3:20-22).
Kutless - Perspectives Lyrics
It feels like your life's crashing down all around you
Let me ask if it's really so bad
Look at the world in it's suffering
Can you honestly tell me that know one else could understand
All the hurting inside
Why can't you see that freedom is sometimes simply another perspective away
Who could you be if your lens was changed for a moment,
Would you still be the same
A young child looks through a great stained glass window
Watching the people go by
Everyone seems to be wearing a red coat
His mother sees jackets in white
Now he can't understand why does she see it this way
Why can't you see that freedom is sometimes simply another perspective away
Who could you be if your lens was changed for a moment,
Would you still be the same
Yesterday, you really couldn't see
By changing your angle a new world would be
Revealed to your once blinded eyes by moving a few degrees
Why can't you see that freedom is sometimes simply another perspective away
Who could you be if your lens was changed for a moment,
Would you still be the same

The issue is when we don't listen, whether due to doubt, stubbornness or just plain old "lack of faith"...
When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving.

marshmallowclouds...
18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. 19 For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. 20 From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.
It turns out that a scientist can see the future by watching four-year-olds interact with a marshmallow. The researcher invites the children, one by one, into a plain room and begins the gentle torment. "You can have this marshmallow right now," he says.
Some children grab the treat the minute he's out the door. Some last a few minutes before they give in. But others are determined to wait. They cover their eyes; they put their heads down; they sing to themselves; they try to play games or even fall asleep. When the researcher returns, he gives these children their hard-earned marshmallows. And then, science waits for them to grow up.

"What have I done?" -Joan of Arc...
SARAH'S WOMB IS CLOSED...
Genesis 22
Abraham Tested
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!"
"Here I am," he replied.
2 Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you."
3 Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. 4 On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. 5 He said to his servants, "Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you."
6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, 7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, "Father?"
"Yes, my son?" Abraham replied.
"The fire and wood are here," Isaac said, "but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" [Genesis 22:1-7]
Luke 11:10-12 (New International Version)
10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
11"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[a] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?

God has been really unusual this summer and there have been many turning points where I have witnessed his "mighty hand and outstretched arm" -OT... And I know I'm NOT crazy, because my other friends at seminary and otherwise also saw that orange tinted full moon and our new brother in Christ also saw that e-mail disappear from my Sent folder, which BTW, it came back when I got home eh... God was just trying to show you something my Friend :) The most interesting one I experienced though would have to be on 05/01/2009 when we had no fellowship that night and I was able to go to the praise night of my softball league and I experience a visual spiritual-distortion of the magnitude of Acts 9 and that night God also sent a guest speaker who just told the story of MY life up there on the altar; the theme that night also was very Purpose Driven Life Day 1 as well...
At the conclusion of the season, when I was at the closing banquet, there was also this one part during the side show where there was this one song by Taylor Swift I had never heard before so I didn't realize at first that "TEAM CAPTAIN and I'm on the bleachers" was the wrong lyric and perhaps another audio distortion. Reminds me of that time when I my friend got really upset that I thought she was telling me seminary is "bridle-college" because that's honestly what I heard though. I also heard the voice of God call my name that very same night so I know it's not a coincidence... Anyhow later on, *3* of the brothers in Christ on my team beside me started singing it, I also asked my co-captain JT, to "sing it", but she refused. So it was just those *3* guys...Being inspired by that, I've decided to write a more "Christian-Friendly" edition of the song as you know I often do...
You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she's upset
She's going off about something that He said
'Cause she doesn't get your humour like I do...
He's in the room, it's a typical Tuesday night
Listening to the music Satan doesn't like
And He'll know your story like I do...
But she has short flirts, Jesus T-shirts
That TEAM CAPTAIN sitting on the bleachers
Dreaming of the day when You wake up and find...
That what He's looking for has been there the whole time
If you could see that He's the one who understands us
Been there all along... so what can't you see...?
We..., we belong with Thee, we belong with Thee...
Walking the parks with you and your worn-out teams
I can't help thinking this is how He ought to see
Laughing on a park bench, thinking to myself
Hey, isn't this J...C...?
And She's got a smile that could light up this whole town
I haven't seen it in a while since He brought it down
You say you're fine, But He knows better than that
Hey, whatcha doing with no girl like that?
She likes high feels, I wear sneakers
That TEAM CAPTAIN sitting on the bleachers
Dreaming of the day when You wake up and find...
That what He's looking for has been there the whole time
If you could see that He's the one who understands us
Been there all along... so what can't you see...?
We..., we belong with Thee, we belong with Thee...
Standing by and waiting at your back door
All this time how could you not know?
_____, you belong with me..., you belong with me...
Oh, I remember me driving to her house in the middle of the night (to drop off THE FULL-PACKAGE)
He's the one who makes me laugh when He knows I'm about to cry
And we know His favourite songs and You tell me 'bout your dreams
Lord He knows where you belong, Lord I know it's with me
If you could see that He's the one who understands us
Been there all along... so what can't you see...?
We..., we belong with Thee, we belong with Thee...
You belong with Thee...
Have you ever thought just _____
You belong with Thee?
You belong with Thee.....
Hehe, reminds me also of last week when we went out to celebrate a DELAYED AY's B-day and we also watched a "Christian-Friendly" version of something...
(8) These are the days of Elijah... (8)
My softball season this year was off to a start of pretty much undefeated-ness and a determined team who was initially very committed to coming to not one, but two practices a week. But then God intervened and we were down some very key players during the tournament and lost by 1 run to the team that won the tournament in quarter finals, man, reminds me of when Dunamis also lost by 1 to Canaan... "It hurts... doesn't it? You can't BELIEVE what fell..." But eventually I got OFF the bleachers during the "bottom of the ninth... bases loaded..." and finally won me that tournament after all...

Forgive me Lord...
OWWW... it hurts... it stopped hurting for almost 8 weeks now, but my "swan-neck deformity" finger is acting up again this morning and I'm forced out of bed... IT'S ALL MY FAULT...
I've stopped the pain killers, because God made a very loud and clear revelation to me during church summer retreat "What do I have to do to show you My way?"... Let's put it this way "My swan-sense is tingling..."
Plus with that FLEECE (Judges 6:11-40) I put out Monday morning while working on my paper, asking God to HOLD BACK ALL DROPS OF RAIN... and then later in class, my prof used THE LINE...
"God is in control..." like my friend ST always tells me whenever I need a reminder about His grace to me when it comes to "swan-neck" matters...
Alright, forgive me Lord, I'll HANDLE WITH CARE...

"Think of me..."
Recently when looking for some other things, including my Single in Missions workshop notes from Urbana 2006, I ran into my church bulletin from 02/15/2009 and also some sheets I had written some music lyrics on when I performed for the Rye Idol competition some years ago. I remember I had sung "Think of me..."
"For someone who tried so hard to get something, you sure are quick to let it go..."
Apparently that quote from THE FULL-PACKAGE was still in the clipboard when I was trying to paste something else here for safe-keeping. JM, or maybe you're JY now :P, if you're curious to what that "Full-Package" I made reference to in my e-mail really is, feel free to ask me... It will hopefully give you the same "that explains a lot" feeling it gave me regarding that incident between V and I when I wrote that package some 21 months ago.
I apparently failed to record another short show I was planning to watch so I decided to open up my Spiderman 2 Special Edition DVD instead and noticed there was a 4th subtitle option which is really like that "Pop-up Video" stuff they used to have on MTV that gives you a lot of inside info about the comics so it had more than my anticipated share of undivided attention I had planned to originally give it because of that. Based on the scene I chose to start the DVD from in the Scene Selection menu instead of what I originally had in mind to pick much further along in the film, it brought me back to a scene I had forgotten was even in there.
In this scene, Peter Parker was talking to Dr. Oct (before he became evil) and his wife and the professor was telling him how keeping something "as complicated as love a secret" was not a good thing and it would eat one up inside just like a disease... Ironically, shortly after I wrote another friend an e-mail about how I've entrusted everything related to my marriage into God's hands now and made reference to a sermon of my Pastor's about Isaiah 39 and Isaiah 40 some time ago, something interesting happened.....
I randomly opened up my bible and I just so happen to land in 2 Kings 20... and so having a spiritual sense/instinct about this, I decided to read it. See, that's the key here people, you gotta have a sense of calling behind it to do this, don't assume that every time you randomly flip through the bible that is exactly what God is trying to say to you, because it isn't something I do on a daily basis or anything. But anyhow I thought to myself "Envoys from Babylon" (as it was open to the second half of the chapter on this page)... are these the same as the ones in Isaiah 39??? YES! Lo and behold, I cross referenced the two passages and discovered they are in fact two same accounts of the same event. I later also read the beginning of 2 Kings 20 and I was like "Hey... Hezekiah got sick... like a disease, LOL just like that scene in Spiderman 2..." BUT more importantly, God delivered Hezekiah through it all and I know it's truly like I told my friend in that e-mail, He'll get me through my struggles also.
It reminded me of another incident some weeks ago at church when we had sung one of the songs I mentioned in my previous blog entry at the end of church and I noticed a friend had what I initially thought was her textbook open so I asked "What are you reading (or maybe I said 'studying') there ____?" I had to repeat the question a few times "What are you reading ____?"... "What are you reading____?"... and finally I got my answer "Oh Isaiah... but I'm not really reading it...I just have it open..." It's interesting that this is the second time I had acted on a "spiritual hunch" and yet again the other party never understood my question at first. It's funny I had to ask that question like maybe 3 times it could have been, LOL it's like "Just answer the question, stop making my spiritual pilgrimage difficult!" :P
"It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile... winning's winning..."
In a last ditch effort to find peace about the whole situation and also to get over my overwhelming desire to win the MCBCSL tournament this year even though I knew the odds were stacked strongly against us, but I couldn't sleep the whole night, I had to do something...I "made a covenant with my God" or a vow if you want to call it that instead; That if I won the tournament, I would, well you know... "tie the knot"... Well I did not win, the MCBCSL tournament, which was initially very disappointing, but I feel it was maybe for the best. Besides it's not like I feel like I shouldn't "fulfil my end of the bargain" (which is ironically one of the main themes of my next seminary paper, please pray for me because I've been having such writers' block lately).
David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished. [1 Chronicles 28:20]
But instead, I've learned I need to trust further in God's timing over the whole thing, because after all, even God delayed, hehehe :)

"Because I can take it..."?
After the last blog entry, I dunno what you guys (or "readers") think about me. I suppose I should be more like most other bloggers and give you an actual update to my life.
I'm still waiting on my (re)application for seminary to fall through. There is a bit of a delay waiting on a reference, such a feeling of deja-vu... Just like the first time. Haha, complete with the job hunting too. I need to step that up a notch too, admist getting some other things done that I normally didn't get a chance to finish the year before.
Taking a semester off in the second half of the summer for softball was good. Gave me a chance to unwind and also keep up with my fitness level. It was also an interesting experience leading a younger team this year. It was good, because more people could make it to pratice, at least at first. It's tough running a team when people are not euthusiastic or able to attend team events. My younger brother was also on my team this year which is a first. He also won the Most Improved Player award and I'm proud of him making it to the pratices and improving as much as he did considering he's never played softball before. I guess buying him the cleats through my hook-up to the Nike sale was a good idea also. ;)
Haha so much S-ball talk... I am finding with my new church's general enthuaism for CCSA/softball and our humble history of MAT and other awards etc... that if you love Softball, it's gotta be RHCBC... ;) I haven't forgotten my own humble softball beginnings... from being someone who initially didn't even want to play because of the hot weather and all and some of the years of summer we've had recently, except maybe for this one, it's being pretty hot at times... In my own CCSA year it was kind of cloudy during... LOL... "cloudy" eh... most of my games, so it really wasn't that bad. HAHA I should have been playing CCSA this year... it's an Urbana year... "It is... tradition..."
I've realized something today, that I need to go back to singing "Christian worldview" songs more. I was trying to sing a few today when I was walking to the mailbox and trying to call a friend of mine but ended up with "other half" instead. I first was trying to put out Wind Beneath My Wings, but didn't really remember all of the lyrics... then I was trying to get Power of Your Love, but that was a "fail" also... ended up doing more of a medley in the end, a mixture of the verse of You're All I Want with the chorus of Power of Your Love... In other words, something like this...:
Draw me close to you
Never let me go
I lay it all down again
To hear you say that I'm A Friend
You are my desire
No one else will be
Cos no one else can take your place
To feel the warmth of your embrace
Help me find the way
Bring me back to you
Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I’ll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love
Draw me close to you
Never let me go
I lay it all down again
To hear you say that I'm A Friend

A tour(ney) to remember...
Like every other year, I played in what I (apparently rightly-so) nicknamed the MCBC "farm league" for softball. Like I tell my friends all zee time, not as an excuse, but merely a report of what is simply the truth: I always lose in the Quarter finals! Ever year, without fail!
But this year was a little different. We had to play with a 5 guy to 5 girl ratio... so I played 1st base for 90% of the tournament. It was also the first time in 6 or 7 years playing in this tournament that I won all *3* round robin games and also went more than 5 innings in quater finals. Usually it's 5 innings for quarters, 6 innings for semis and 7 innings for the final game...
My co-coach/captain (depending on what league you play for) always likes to be the away team. Even though it's a small league with only 11 teams, we ended up facing this team a total of *3* times. The first time there were apparently some thunderstorms or something and the game was cancelled. This was good in a way, because that weekend I was away at summer retreat and I had really wanted to face his team this season. But turns out the first time we tried to schedule a make-up game, it didn't work out, plus that weekend, it was his turn to be away at summer retreat. Luckily we were able to do the Saturday after that, but it rained yet again, so since there was no thunder, we just played right through it.
BUT again, at the round-robin pre-tourney games it was again raining during our round-robin game *3* when we faced them. So I joked to the other Captain "How come every time we play you guys it rains?" It turns out that the way the round-robin standings worked out, we ended up playing their team yet again right after in quarter finals. They actually made it all the way to finals too, but that's another story. I joked to myself before the game, "Game *3*, the game of Destiny..." also because we lost the make up game by one run and beat them in the round robin, so this was kind of a tie breaker. Also since it was sunny, I also said to myself "at least God PARTED THE CLOUDS..."
So as the game progressed we were getting pretty tired since we most of us had been playing defense for the majority of the last 20 innings of all the games so far that day. I played 19 out of the 20 myself, with my age kicking in and not being able to sleep the night before, I knew I was just about done... But destiny would have it that we were tied at the bottom and end of the 5th inning (5 inning quarter final games), so we had to take the game into 2 extra innings to determine the winner. Never before have I experienced 5 half innings of no score and what I consider a miracle that one inning they had 3 consequtive batters not able to get any fair hits. It just so happens in the last inning, it was still scoreless, but we had to hold them down yet another half-inning. But we were only able to make one out and they pretty much had 3 batters make 3 consequtive singles... so in other words...
"BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH, BASES LOADED..." ROFL... "I wanna be like I _ _..." :P but it was only 1 out... There is a rule against moving in front of the batter in our league, in other words, before the ball is hit, we're not allowed to play the bottom half of the diamond unless we're the catcher... So basically our only hope was to try to make the play at home for the most part... Never before have I felt like there was really nothing I could do... They had a girl go up to bat too, but she wasn't like one of those who couldn't hit...Albeit she might have been under a lot of pressure... Since the majority of my team moved up as much as possible on her and the ball was hit just to the right of the batter, I made a dash for home to back up the catcher, but I turned around while running on the baseline only to witness what was an error made at the very end when two of my other teammates tried to go for the ball.
It was over, but on the bright side, it finally gave me a chance to rest, not that I intentionally threw the game. I lay myself down on the grass just outside the diamond like some of my other teammates and looked at the clouds for a bit, they were all scattered in small little bunches, kind of like popcorn...
I was tempted just to end it at the last paragraph, but it's too much of a cliff hanger... I went home for a bit after tournament, to try to get some more sleep before our traditional post tournament outings. There's a more personal reason as to why I was pretty disappointed this year was like ever other and I got eliminated in quarters yet again; but then I was reminded of the real reasons why I'm there. I'm not just there to try to end my 7 year tournament drought, but to also have fun and enjoy the compananionship of my fellow teammates. At this point I was in tears, I did have that and it should be enough, plus I was really proud of my team, they all worked really hard and improved so much this year. I didn't expect to make it as far as I did at first, but we all did our best and we all really wanted to win and I've never seen a team play with so much determination. There were just some factors that worked against us such as the missing players and I think under different circumstances we likely could have won, but perhaps I'm just not meant to win just yet...
There has been an interesting and ironic follow up or BALANCE to the "BOTTOM OF THE ______, BASES LOADED" thing which I shared about with that same friend on the other team previously mentioned. In fact I didn't even think about the "BOTTOM OF THE..." thing till after these other events. Maybe one day, if you want to, I can go old with you...

KP: "I'm back..."
I turned on the TV this afternoon and movie *3* was on... I watched it for a bit and it happened to go to part 5 (according to YouTube version). But seeing that I saw it already, I switched the channel. However, the other channel's movie had already started and wasn't that interesting, so I switched back to movie *3* and it happened to be at the "Picnic" scene LOL... Later the same day when I got back from softball stuff the TV was showing The Wedding Singer...
Adam Sandler : I Wanna Grow Old With You Lyrics
Songwriters: N/A
Billy Idol - Good afternoon everyone were flying at 26,000 feet moving up to 30,00 feet and we've got clear skies all the way to las vegas. And right now were bringing you some in-flight entertainment one of our first class passengers would like to sing you a song inspired by one of our coach passengers. And seeming as we let our first class passengers do pretty much whatever they want here he is .....
Adam Sandler
I wanna make you smile,
Whenever you're sad.
Carry you around when your arthritis is bad.
All I wanna do,
Is grow old with you.
I'll get you medicine,
When your tummy aches.
Build you a fire if the furnace breaks.
Oh it could be so nice,
Growin' old with you.
I'll miss you, kiss you,
Give you my coat when you are cold.
Need you, feed you.
Even let you hold the remote control.
So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink.
Put you to bed when you've had too much to drink.
Oh I could be the man,
Who grows old with you.
I wanna grow old with you.

I wrote the above yesterday when I started this entry, it is now Monday. They removed the metallic pin splint from my fractured finger finally and I should hopefully eventually return to normal. It is a bit awkward and painful for me to be using that finger to type again. I thought it would be a big procedure involved in this final step of fixing my finger, like they would have to cut me open once more and I would again have to go through painful stitch removal. But turns out it was nothing like that. They had to do some X-rays first to make sure my finger was ok, then all that happened was the surgeon took something that looks like pliers and just pulled the wire/pin splint out of me. It was apparently pointed at the other end which explains why it would hurt if I bumped the tip of my finger. I'm still having some issues bending the joint where the bone was fractured, but I was told that it's normal to expect it to be stiff at first.
My team lost it's undefeated season record in the second game whist we are missing some players. But now that the surgeon told me I'm ok to use my finger again as normal, it's like that advertisement for one of RP's shows when the editors showed that one line from one of his jokes: "I'mmmmmmm backkkkk...."
Do you know what CK stands for? Besides my friend who needs some financial support to return to his mission field in Asia that is...

"Can we get the _ _ _ _ _ please..."
Ahahaha... I'm sure Mr. _ _ _ _ _ & Balance would like to see the "Balance" entry, but before I can finish that one, more interesting things happened. But like I was telling my softball team earlier today "these things don't just happen..." I don't mind being taught by others, like when we were at CC and the speakers shared about how they don't really have one person discipling another but it's often a joint effort and I've experienced that sometimes when I disciple others, they "mysteriously" (ok it's called "God" man... Mr. C&B...) pray things that happen to "just seemingly come out of nowhere too..."
Anyhow after my session I went over to the co-op car wash and it just so happened (ok ok, "Just got happened" like one of my team mates said today "blasphemy" but it was regarding something else) that there was a song playing at the car wash that relates to something I have been pondering about and about to ask my private prayer team to pray for. I google-d it and went to the third hit/result thinking it was the song, but it wasn't the one at the car wash, but nonetheless:
It's Never Too Late lyrics
It's never too late
It's never too late
It's never too late
The Lord will see you through
Just call on his name
And his strength and love will guide you
Just open up your heart
And he will turn your life around
He's able, able to guide you, need you
Just open up your heart
And invite him to come in
Just believe in him
And know that it's never too late
It's never too late

So perhaps it's "not" (8) too late to apologize... (8) afterall... ;)

*2* "Decode God's Da-Vinci code for your life..."
*3* "Use the spiritual force Christians..."
